FORD AMERSON

Ford was born and raised in Greenville, North Carolina. He graduated from The Oakwood School in 2023. He is currently a sophomore at East Carolina University, where he is earning his Bachelors of Arts in Economics and his Bachelors of Music in Viola Performance.

Ford is also a Chancellor’s Fellow for the ECU Honors College Class of 2027 and was a finalist for the Brinkley-Lane Scholars program. Ford placed in the top 50 of nearly 2,000 applicants in his cohort who applied to the Honors College.

​

Ford has always prioritized serving others. He is an ECU Ambassador; where he serves ECU and the surrounding community in various ways. He has been a waiter at Parker’s Barbecue for nearly three years. He also performs music regularly around North Carolina, making a difference in people’s lives.

In his free time, Ford enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and going to the gym.
